HI,

saw this trailer attached to a Nationwide Towing truck but I couldn't work out what they would be carrying with this. Any ideas?

Terry

Waverley Forklifts had a simpler version mid 1970’s. Improvement on the Cubico and Car Carrier trailers with single wheels and tandem suspensions.

I made one with single 10.00x20s on four stub axles coupled by hydraulic rams.........I had dozens of army acco hubs and stubs ,and could source them free basically.........so long ago,you could still get army 25 pounder hubs and stubs new .....anyhoo,the trailer was to pick up the little four wheeled elevating work platforms ,the kind that go straight up. It worked really well ,until they broke it with big forklifts .....it was legal with 5 ton ,but that was too much for the swing arms ,and twisted the wheels out.

I thought it was for carrying beer.

The Liquorland in the background suggests it had just unloaded!
