Are ballring turntables still a thing?......maybe Im living in the past ,they used to be common.?...........the reason I ask is it was also popular to mount a bandsaw on one ,so it was easy to do angled cuts on long steel sections.

I believe ball race turntables they are pretty standard for stock transport as they are chasing as much stability as they can get.

Used on tipping trailers, especially with TOA.

Blokes on roadworks like them as they are so much better/smoother for reversing.

I won't use anything else..

Most Big Fleets are Too Tight to use them. As they're a heap Dearer than a Fixed Turntable..

I had one on a float I drove with a compensating turntable on top of the ball race one.
