Hi.
Yep next project is getting some sides on the top of the tipper. Anyone got some good DIY methods for this.
Yep agree a blade on the back could help, but have been digging holes for new fencing atm.

Others will know better than me, but it looks like the truck as a fairly long bed for a tipper and as such just the old fashioned gravel sides about 12 to 18 inches high would be maximum load with dirt/gravel. If the load is too heavy I have been told the hoist will either and/or bend the chassis behind the cab or bend the tray trying to lift it or hydraulics just let go... . any of them would be no fun at all...
My old beddie had gravel sides, hinged from the coaming. my old inter had welded fixed gravel sides but was a short wb. A couple of lengths of K panel wih some hinges and a rear gate might be a quick fix???
Keep us posted.

Hi
We decided to give the gravel sides a miss. Loading her up was a bit how ya going when tipping, it was twisting at the front and a bit of a look revealed some stress cracks on the tipper frame, so recon we will do some welding and stick to light loads
