You have me thinking now Cobbadog. I might have a go with the bucket at full width until I have finished the road building and cut it down later when I need to use the small trailer again. If I can load the Acco with the large bucket it will speed things up considerably.

Bucket needs to be wider than the tractor as Cobba says you will be making a mess getting nowhere. To fill your short trailer just dig the corner of the bucket into the pile. Bit of practice will show whats needed.

The rusted out bucket I have ATM is quite narrow I will measure it up today
. I might just weld a plate into it if it will fit into my trailer. Its not something I will need to do every day but unloading the little tandem will be a great help for top soil in the vege patch and blue stone around the sheds.
