Wow, Grandad, i don't just like it, I NEED it.
An early   Morris Cowley golf course mowing tractor.  I have heard of them but never seen a picture of one.

I will try to attach a picture of my 1926 Morris Commercial D Type Six Wheeler that was cut down into a tractor to maintain the driveway to a restaurant. It is D Type chassis number 032.


 
 

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Looks a bit like a doodlebug as the Americans called them, though evedently not home made like a doodlebug.

Just saw the Morris Cowley tractor. My Dad had the Cowley Tourer. I was around 2 when he bought it and maybe 10 when he sold it. I have a Bosch n Lucas magneto under my bench which were spares for it.
