Gday john,
No expert on the matter but i wouldnt mind betting the rack's stuck open on the injector pump, especially if its been sitting for awhile.
Cheers,
Slim

Hi Ian & Slim
It is the rack, got it moving. I may have to take it out, similar to the GM. One is free the other is tight i have had no problems with it since we got her running a few years ago it had been under a pepper corn tree for 28 years with the clutch side missing just the crank shaft was exposed to the weather. When we put it together it started straight away and it is a good puller in its class cheers john
