Probably should be on another thread but you are right about packing them in. The way 90% of truck shows are arranged is rubbish.
They insist on parking the trucks with mirrors touching so nobody can get a good look or photo of them. Nearly every location has the ability to spread the trucks around the whole venue (and even small showgrounds have reasonable area) but they insist on packing in to the oval only. eg Gatton last week had 50 acres of nice grass all around the grounds but they went for the Guinness record for oval stacking.
Must be the habit of years of parking behind the truck stop parked mirror to mirror while trying to sleep with a fridge truck engine roaring away beside you.
Natural herding instinct. Just wish the organisers would use more imagination.
