....fair dinkum, and for goodness sake....PUT SOME STANDS UNDER THE WHOLE LOT!!....
...Hendrickson walking beams aren't flat across the bottom, and any leakdown of any of the hydraulic jacks can cause the whole lot to shift.....with diabolical consequences :'( :'(

he has the jack under the lug th@ the pivot shaft bolts to on D hendrickson
th@ b normally where U jack it up anyway when U found a flat tar
Me nose it aint 100% safe but if all th@ B workin on the beast R aware it should/could/would B OK

Im with Detective.
Only need to snag the air line and release a jack,then the rest goes all pear shaped.
Its alot of truck to try and lift while someone is under there making funny noises with a diff on their chest.

yep I'm with Detective on this one its a bit different to changing a flat tyre on the side of the road a couple of stands look pretty cheap compared to what could happen and it happens so quick no warning most times and you dont even have to be under it as it screws side ways off a jack. Having said all that carry on fellas looks like your about to have some fun

I think you'll find it's not a cut out, but either a piece of polished stainless or chrome. The guy's knee is of he who is taking the photo.

Stands were put in place after photo shoot !!
V8 Inter, I was looking for something different and found these in the states from a company Roadworks.
