No doubt there's something cheaper and readily available out there, Trevor, but have a look at the aviation industry if you struggle to find what you're after.

Trevor,
Get yourself a coarse and finishing buff wheels and spindles plus some buffing wax from Bunnings for your bench grinder and do them yourself. Its pretty easy.
The hub caps on the S24 are pot metal not Ali so be careful if yours are the same they dont fly to bits in your face.
Pot metal, die cast villiers carby sort of metal.
Basil

Basil,Dave & Bparo
I picked up the spindles, buffs & wax at a cost of $75 from Bunnings and what a wonderful job it does.
And then just to finish it of with the Autosol.
I have only had a chance to do one at the moment but i am very impressed with the outcome.
Thanks all

Trevor,
Glad it worked okay for you. I do all my own polishing this way.
Please be very carefull though as the buff wheel will show no mercy when it grabs hold of your job and hurls it in you face or worse at the floor and breaks it.
I had a bad experience with an air tank strap and wore it. It happens real quick and I didnt even see it coming. Coupla stitch's later I had it going again but a very wary now.

i take the gaurds off bench grinders with wire brushes or buffing wheels. at least if something grabs it tends to head towards the floor. with the gaurd on things like bolts go through and come back out below belly button level . also mount grinders on a stand so area is clear and buff below the centre line of the wheel
