Dodge tow trucks

I thought it about time i show all my past and current Dodge tow trucks,you may have seen them on Ebay prior to me buying them (Ebay is evil but i cant help myself!) every truck i own allmost comes from Ebay,without Ebay i would have only my sanity left! i do like tow trucks though they are very handy,how else do you get all the other trucks home?? here are some pics the AT4 came from SA and i restored it,its now in Coober Pedy,the D5N 500 came from Jim Smith in Coburg and spent its life working out of local truck wreckers,its now been wrecked itself due to rust etc,but much of it lives on in the new Dodge 675 which was a tray from Mildura 318 5x2 currently under resto should be at sandown (will be at sandown!) holmes 600 came of Army acco 6x6 the D5N,s last job was hauling it back from Cooma,i have used these units in the Army they are the best recovery kit available.....i am wrecking the Dodge D5N 500 if anyone is chasing bits or it goes to scrap when im finished with it.....now how do i get them photo,s up??

this may be of interest to you, this is one of our members tilt trays that he has built him self, this member also has just finished the same model of truck as a tow truck, just like the one in your images, but an inta not a doge,

Sweet hope he had less probs with rego than im going to have given i have to change vehicle description,engineers cert req ....on a 41 year old tow truck this should be fun and $$$$.........anyone know a good engineer that understands????????????/

Im sure a few of you have seen Jims old truck getting around in the past............i allways take a spare tow truck when i go down the beach!!

Nice picks, no the tow rig is not as complex as yours, just a simple one center pole and a hydrolic cable winch with come pullys, if you want i can PM you his contact details and the two of you can make sweet love in all things tow trucks. this bloke has been a towy all his life and has built all his own tow trucks and tilt trays so he know a thing or two. he is also building a Mini Mack Flintstone as you can see on the back, in compitition to the Mini W Model Kenworth.

nice dodge 600 what size front tyres are you running they look larger than 10.00/20" ? ..where abouts ru located ?
