T2700 twin steer International

Hi guys looking for some info, my son bought his first truck this week, twin steer crane truck, T2700 with a Cummins fleet 400 , 13 sp. What does the "fleet" 400 refer to? Is it a 400 big cam with extra gear? Looks to have extra gear on top of the PT pump and a different type of aftercooler.

From memory, the "Fleet 400" High idle was set @1800 or 1900 RPM. & the "Normal 400" was set @2100RPM..

It has STC injectors & Low Flow Cooling. Both had there Problems...

I had one of those STC Motors in an LTS many Years Ago..

Yes just lower rpm setting... Basically an attempt to save fuel
