Hi all,

What I though would be a seemingly simple task of checking price and availability of brake drums and shoes for a K125 seems too hard for the first two places I've tired.

I have the axle codes (SP40 QP40 Na5) & SP40 QR40 NA5) (16.5x7) on the rear and FF-931-TW on the front - (15x4). Can anyone tell me what I need to do to figure out part numbers for the drums and shoes ?

Cheers

Just take one of your drums into any self respecting Truck parts Place, & they should be able to sort you out on the Spot..(I would Think)
The Brake Shoes/linings will be fairly generic across lots of other trucks & Trailers..

The Next Steer Axle Brake Drum I replace will be the First..!!

I thought all drums for Rockwell (and possibly Eaton) from that era were generic. All linings, springs and bushes were.

Okay

Because I'm a dumb ass and only drive a truck with a dog on the bonnet I am not the right person to answer this

BUT, THREE BOURBONS DEEP ON FRIDAY NIGHT I feel I can answer this

The other two blokes before me are pretty much what I would do
Yank a drum and take to your local truck parts place and say nothing, act blond, thats what I tell the Princess to do
Let them measure away and come with a answer

Just saying, don't over think this

assuming you have Spider Wheels? here's your Drive brake Drum..

www.maxiparts.com.au/AP0856C-brake-drum-gp-drive-axle

And This should be your Brake Shoes ect..

But as I Mentioned before take one of everything with You, To ensure what you take Home, Match's what you have..!
