Has anyone ever done this or know someone who has? Have seen some recent finishes done by brush and was astounded. Am considering it as an option as my father-in-law is a master painter and very accomplished when it come to brush work.

Anyone heard of Craftmaster Paints? Can they be bought in Australia or is there an equivalent?

I used to work for a fellow who painted his trucks by hand but it was only because he didnt have a spray gun.

Interested to know what you find.

Here's a link to a Leyland TD4 that I have been following, that was painted with a brush. I'm thinking of using a two pack primer, with an enamel brushed top coat. As Swishy said warm the paint up (water or put it in the sun for a couple of hours) Still havent worked out how to paint the roof of my bus yet.

Thanks guys. Barry and my father-in-law had mentioned the hot water technique. Turns out my f-i-l painted a Mini in the 70s with coach paint and the result was impressive.

Hey Andy I have some items you can practice on if you like! How are you at painting flames? :o

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!
