? How long is it since you have done a full restoration.
Current ball park figures for an at home restoration where you do most of the labour yourself for the larger trucks runs at about $10 grand per metre and as this truck would go close to 6 metres in my head that equates to around $60 grand so I think the asking price is fair.
The negative comment you made earlier and repeated this morning really puts people off a lot from advertising on here.

...Trev .. the asking price is fair...you just have to get someone to pay it, and 12 months on the market is a long time to start to wonder what the market will tell you what it's worth...cheers mate

Detective and others.
I was not having a go at any one person. The problem with the written word there is no way to convey the emphasis so the reader may interpret things differently to what you intended. Very few of us are professional writers so most of us are learning from our mistakes.
It also puts an onus on those of us reading to ensure we are reading the only interpretation and if we are not sure ask a question rather than presume the intention was the worst.
This is why I dislike comments about prices people are asking. Some people are prepared to wait to get their price others are in a position where they need to sell more urgently. This impacts the final agreed price between the buyer and seller as much as the quality of the restoration. There can be other factors too. Who else has bought something on the agreement with the misses that the current one is sold. You don't really want to sell it so you put a highprprice on it so if it does sell it's worth your while and if it doesn't sell then 'sorry dear I tried to sell it but nobody wants it'.
The above is not a comment about the truck for sale in this thread. I am not commenting on it as I am not in the market for another vehicle so it's price isn't relevant to me. If I was interested my comments would be in a pm or email to the seller.

The way I see it there is 3 types of people who have or want old trucks (or anything else) for that matter.
1 those who can do the resto themselves.
2 those who can do some and need to get the rest done ($ pay for it $).
3 those who can't do any of it themselves and have to pay someone to do it all $$$$$.
If the 3rd is you then I reckon it's an absolute bargain
I always remember an old saying "if you've got nothing positive to say then don't say anything"

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Well, you could buy a barn find, drag it home, then spend the next 10 years in the shed. And throw a heap of $$$$ at it.
Or just go and buy something ready to drive....
