g'day highwheeler, how did you go getting those door catches? i put new ones on mine years ago ,i found that early r model macks use the same door lock parts.don't know whether MACK still stock them still though.

Re the door locks
they are the same as Mack ones
Part No 31RC39B
Mack might have them but the early stuff is getting hard to get now. I might have some second hand ones.
When they wear just build them up with weld and use a small round file to re make the groove. Good as new........

Gday Clarke, I do have a lot of cab parts from a White 9000 .I used a 9000 cab on my Autocar as the original cab was only good for parts, I fitted the Acar dash an firewall to the cab,lowered the roof 38mm. and flattened the floor to make it exactly the same as the original cab.I bought a pair of N.O.S. doors from the states to suit and now shes almost finished so I have two good doors with catches ect. dash and a lot of other gear laying around at the moment , so if you like mate we could sort some thing out . Hi Rob, I have a DC7564 RHD with a damaged cab and looking for photographs and information on what you have done. Would there be any chance in getting information about your work and cab modifications to the 9000 cab? Contact me if you're interested!

that picture of the old fig jam,the stubnose kenworth with the 2 storey sleeper,what model kenny is it.i love them and havnt seen one for 30 years.when i was a kid ,i used to see em howling down the princes highway at benandra nsw.
i wan to get one in a cupla projects time.

Gday Steve I would be happy to run thru what I did , im not sure how many photos ive got but I sort of did it bit by bit an just tried to make things fit . Im not an engineer or welder or even a panel beater but I just tried to do the best I
