WTB FORD "F" series. was created by tim
Looking to buy a FORD "F" series, can be anything from an F100 to an F350 or depending on what it is even bigger, not ruling anything out at this stage. I have seen a couple of nice F100's but they have had walk thru bodies which is not what I want. I don't want a 4wd either as I already have one of them. If it's an F100 I'd prefer the late 1970's with the Louisville look grille. Power steering & auto trans would be nice but not mandatory. I can be reached on 0419 30 77 21. Cheers & thanks very much for reading. Tim :)

Well Swishy, took a run up to Narre Warren today but have decided to leave well alone. Had a few rust concerns that did'nt show up in the photo's & as I'm no body guy it's a bit beyond me, otherwise not a bad jigger. Thanks for the headsup as you don't know what you'll find until you look. Cheers Tim

First place to check for metal maggots is the re-inforcing panel where the steering column comes through and right across under the plenum box under the windscreen. Ford's crappy sealer lifts water gets between the panels. Next would be the bottom of the doors

And just like the Louisville's they have that badly designed three piece welded roof.

Hi Guys, well I found myself a nice little '88 F350 today & I think it'll do the job. A few bits to be done but mechanically seems fine with no rust visible in the bodywork. Thanks to those people who took the time to point me in the direction. Cheers Tim :) ;)
