I am just surprised how many are out there. I don't intend to but I am sure I could not find so many Commers or Bedfords of that era infesting Gumtree or Marketplace ads. Did they last longer or maybe they were a farmers truck that did not do the miles the others did in more commercial operations. Maybe they broke down so often they spent half their life in the barn so they survived longer?

I know what you mean Lang they must have all been hiding behind the sheds don’t look like they have been in the sheds because you don’t see them sitting around when you’re driving around
You could have a point with them being farm trucks and not having done much work but if they were farm trucks it probably would have been hard miles I know what ours have been asked to do at times

Drove this Mastiff with V8 Perkins many years ago. Poor little thing had its ring hanging out, but never cost anything in repairs for the 3 years I drove it. First photo is my son beside the Mastiff, he is now a 43 year old doctor.
