Yes same model but he sold it about 3 years ago
Actually no, I just had another look and his was twin steer.

You can't have too many toys!

They were very popular for front lift waste trucks and also car carriers. There was a brick truck in Boral colours with twin steer, tri drive and a crane out in the east of Melbourne.

I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

Used to be a single drive tipper working for the council here......I think the BCC put off all the old trucks ..............(I thought the price was $30k)

they only come as boogies, eight wheels and bcc s special build tri drive trin steer the bcc s was given some big gross weight by mistake the story goes .from memory i think it was 36 38 ton on permet, use to cart the high track d6 around on it had 11 rs on the tri but 12 00 on the steer they went to order a new one and main roads said will not be issued those weights again so put it in to brown and hurly to go right thru same when they sold it weights didnt go with the truck, the single axle was mine john didnt get put off cause of age i was perment owner driver there were ten of us they wanted us back causwell made the 10 of use redunit paid us out to go, she is an old finemores car carrier they were special order never come single axle. they fitted 44,000 lbs rear diff in them on two parabolc leaves and a single helper leaf use to turn inside out i put the hendrickson air bag, under it i got the build paper work when i bought it on the flashest paper from from truck yard in melb, they had got it from kenworth says on there 100 ks at twenty one hundred, has the right diff ratio on paper work but she will turn the rear wheels at 75 mile an hour some one worked it out wrong lol suppose to be 270 hp [l 10]but i was told finemores touched up fuel pressure a bit she can haul for little jigger i took the old d6 to allora on a boogie float those long drag out past ipswich sit on 105 ks up them
