The 2 things that I did not like about the L710 Kenworth was that it had the gear lever operated by cables which were always
stiff to operate compared to the linkage system and a lot of the electrics, relays were in the in the battery box. Apart from that this was a good truck.

not all x mine has same setup as her bigger brothers, gear stick is shaft when you tilt the cab gear lever goes with cab later ones were cable

Digging up this thread up again. Noticed this L700 has been for sale for awhile now. Looks to be a single drive judging by the data plate. Pics are crap nmp.

Also note the purple chassis, did kwikasair ever own L series KW's ? Cab colour looks like an ex Mills.

I don't remember ever seeing a Mills L700, but if memory serves me correctly, a Brisbane crane truck (may even have gone by that name) mob had some/one. Same coloured trucks as Nicos, who operated Macks.
