Hi all,
The grille and genuine alloy front bar from me 1979 Boss is up for grabs. It is part of the conversion process from RoadBoss to Western Star.

The grille is in OK condition, having 2 retaining lugs missing, and a very minor crack in the very centre inside at the bottom where the left and right halves bolt together.

The front bar needs work on the passengers side again (damned excavators >:() The pic of the bar is before it got twisted on the passengers side..

Also available:
White RoadBoss sun visor, complete with three lamps and the White script on it.
The large black/chrome letters W H I T E from the front radiator shroud.
Two RoadBoss badges from the side of the bonnet.
One additional White badge the same as the one on the sunvisor.

Location is Helensvale on the Gold Coast

cheers,
Bretto ;)

Bretto, put me down for the grill, sun visor and badge's mate, I'll have a scratch around and see if I can find some Western Star one's for you.

Hi Ian, well - no !
Caught in a quandry....
Got the side scripts from the usa but the W for the hood never came. :(
And then the grille : Road Boss bonnet is wider so had to custom adjust all the grille bars to make it right = new hand made grille.
And the bright metal surrounding the grille = more headaches.
And so on it goes...
It is still a work in progress Ian, and pissing me off no end BUT according to one of the contracting companies that I work for who did a spot check on site and saw my "Western Star" working away they were happy enough ::)
Ah, the joy of it all...
Bretto ;)

Yep, got the brakes finally sorted out to get the pedal to feel right - twas a combination of plumbing between what all you guys said plus a bit of ingenious other plumbing. Needless to say, I am now an expert on brake plumbing. Stops on a dime; pedal feels right, and even brake wear on every lining.
cheers and thanks for the thought Chocs
Bretto ;)
