Wanted: inter engine 264 or 282 asap

Hey all as it says am after a 6 for my inter ab160 engine crapper it self last night and as I use it for work every night news to get it back on the road asap so any good engine would be great in the melb area thanks Daniel 0439 003 601

What went bang on the pl girl??
I have been looking for one on the internet for the past few weeks but couldn't find anything so bit the bullet and am rebuilding my own now. $800 for pistons, bearings and gaskets plus machine work (still to get the bill for that one yet).
I'm hoping that all up with a new set of extractors that I will get out of it for $2000 or so, which isn't too bad for a complete long engine rebuild.

I seen this on Ebay this week but might be a bit hard to get it home across the Tasman.

It's dropped a valve and it's had a big end noise for the last few days as well so yeah s"@! Happens I was thinking of rebuilding it but I need to get it back on the road asap

It is on the auction at the moment, but If you wanted it, I would halt the auction and sell it for $500.
