Oh, ho! .. I'll wager chocs has one that he nicked off a wreck, just before he dumped it at Simsmetal! .. and he'll let you have it for todays special price of $249! .. ;D ;D

Poppi - Here's some starter motor hints. If you don't want to pay out big bucks .. just replace the bronze bushings each end of the starter, and buy and install a new starter solenoid (the one that pulls the pinion into gear).
Also check, that the solenoid engaging fork isn't bent, binding in its pivot area, or worn that badly, that it's sticking.

If you've been pulling it off and cleaning it regularly, you could have already done this repair, with a lesser amount of work.

Also .. check that all your battery cable connections are clean, tight, and bright (sandpaper or wire brush them until they are, if they're grotty) .. and check that the starter cables are an adequate size (sometimes people just grab ready-made cables off the rack, and they aren't big enough diameter) .. and also ensure that you have a good earth strap between engine and chassis, that also has good, clean, bright, tight connections.

A little bit of rust/dirt/looseness in electrical connections will often sap a lot of current transfer ability. A starter needs to be able to suck many hundreds of amps over a short period to crank the motor up to starting speed.

Cheers - Ron.
