I know a guy had an F10 or 12 , he could not get the truck to start . We looked in a Volvo manual to read , and there was the answer , if the drivers seat belt was not latched up on this particular spec , the truck would not start !! He soon fixed that !!
Kind of like the old 2222 Benz with a flat battery , no way are you going to get that key out of the ignition . I stopped a mechanic about to get the key out using a set of pliers once , I rushed over with the handbook and he had to read it to believe it !! Why he had to get the key out was a mystery !! He charged or changed the battery , that will fix it !!
Also What about the Volvo Blocking valve , that must have caused some headaches !!!
There must be plenty of other examples

i'll give you one masury .. pretty sure it's an FL 7 volvo cab cannot be tilted over until the grille has been released and the micro switches recognise that...

amazing circuitry... and bloody annoying when you don't know

Thank you for your latest reply, I am now happy that you now seem to be one of "the good guys" like the rest of us, I have a Scania 1985 P 112H bogie drive body truck, would you have a workshop or operators manual for it? More than happy to pay a fair price

Hi Dozer , i have a brand new operators manual I bought off Scania ,I also have a used black binder with the op manual and other booklets and the chassis number sheets etc , I think its for a 112M body truck , with warranty book , I will email you tonight and tell you exactly what is in this set The new owner manual by itself $20 bux but if thats too steep let me know I will email you tonight thanks for the email it is good if it goes to someone who is into these smooth trux !!
