The dragline looks like last of the Harman type
with the 1/2 cab
has it the worm drive boom hoist th@ takes a day or 2 to raise n lower

Hello Swishy, Yes it has the worm drive for boom, 3/71 GM motor. Except for drag and hoist every action is one at a time, was only used as a crane in later times and the last one lifted tractor off truck, drove truck away and used brake to lower it-bad move- started to bounce with boom buckling. Should have used hoist! David.

Hello, Next truck was this Mitsubishi FV 415 on our 500 k trek to Meekatharra, not the fastest on the road but was 1/2 hour quicker with 25 tons than ACCO with 16 on 300 k trip from Perth. With three neighbouring farmers we worked the gold mine each August September for 13 years from 1985. It was hard work but an interesting change and we got some gold.

Andy - Yes, Ridolfos did run Volvos later on in the piece .. but I don't recall any bullbars with a "V" in them like that, on anyones trucks?? ..

Volvo has been with the one farm since early eighties and was purchased from a farmer/contractor near Wongan Hills. Bull bar could be out of a farm workshop. David
