Hello,Our new Bedford 1963, we knew this as KGL 300ci motor what's a TK? David.

Sorry David that truck is a TK as for the KGL it had a diffrent badge and the KCL came out here (Aust) in about 1970 and they have diffrent dash to what that has. Dave

Thanks for the info Dave, we used to burn no 6 ex valve, later motors had a water gallery between rear of block and head. We have a motor in the shed and of no use to us, got it for the manifold and carby. any Bedford restorers in WA? David.

Hi Kenny , the double bumper ones cme out with screaming jimmys and the KGL was just the next on with full air brakes bigger instrument dash ,better seats, but no tilt cab :'(.Dave

did Bedford fit the detroits or were they after market ? .. they do look good with the twin bumpers !

sorry no Detroits and they sure look mean with the double bumpers and I think they were only found in Aust I dont recall seeing any in UK. dave

Deadly,I`ve seen adverts in old Truck and Bus mags with factory fitted 6V53`s and 10 speed Roadrangers.Dale has got whats left of one for sale at the moment,and one of the others in the club is doing one up at the moment as well.It may take a while,but I can see if I can dig up one of the ad`s. 8-)

Not a real clear shot,this is the one Dale has got.I could see you fanging about in it Dave,plenty of niose,and it`ll probobly get do over 50mph,it`ll feel like your in a jet.
