Hayseed,
You more or less hit the nail on the head. Those are prototypes tested by the IDF in Israel as potential replacements for the DM800 tank transporter and the M-Series 5 T trucks.
The RD800 had Berliet axles and 500hp V8. It had to face offerings from MB (NG Series, V10 550 hp), Autocar (bonneted, Cummins KT525) and the Austrian ÖAF with the MAN V10, also 550 hp which won the contract. The joke is the DMs were never fully pensioned off in the end, the IDF still has a few for emergencies although it's expected they will be replaced by Volvos next year, after 40 years in service, which must be a record of sorts for military tank transporters. After the IDF finished with the RD, it got sold to Mammoet the heavy transport specialists (who on or about the same time bought quite a few pensioned IDF Leyland Contractors, the DM800's predecessors) and then sold off to some Thai operator I believe.
The RD600 obviously shares a lot with the Aussie one - I have no idea whether it was built in the US or Oz, or what engine/box it used. I think in the end they decided to stick with the M-series on account of being cheap and available but to supplement them with a proper medium 6X6 they got US built Tatra/ATC 815s with Cummins ISXs and Allison autos in them...
Interestingly, the IDF once again had a look at an Aussie concept when it tested a Land-Rover Defender 6X6 which looked suspiciously like a Perentie. Again they decided to stick with the 4X4 in the end...

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Some of them look good, some look like the work of photoshop but they are all worth a look and a thought.
Merry Christmas
