I have been keeping an eye on this KW for a couple of years,a few weeks ago
was the first chance that i have had to speak to the owner.
It resides in the upper Hunter area NSW and the owner is looking for a reasonable
S/H 892 to get it going,( If any one knows of one for sale, send me a p/m
and i will pass the info onto him)

Slight correction here...Its possibly an 8V71T.....Yet to be confirmed....

It was bought with the intention of restoring it for a hobby or show truck,
but nothing flash. The donk had suffered with a hydraulic lock, a partial strip down
revealed cracked heads and liners . So it would be an expensive overhaul.
I have no idea where it originated from.....so...i am relying on some gentlemen
to track it down...( i will say thanks in advance..............S/N 402566.......)

Only info I have is that it was built as a dealer stock truck. Tell him not to worry about a '92, it was originally built as an 8V71T with RTO915, Eaton DS380's @ 4.56 on Hendrickson RT380.

......It may well be a 871T.... the bloke was a bit uncertain about it, thinking back,
i may have just assumed it was an 892.
It was raining at the time , so not too much crawling around ,just a few quick pics.
Mostly that yard is locked up,so, i might have to wait some time to have another look.
The deep reduction switch is still on the dash area ,yet,it looks like a splitter bizzo
is on the stick. (maybe a 13 speeder in it now ...who knows)
