The Far North (NZ version)

I was up in the far north (of NZ) in the weekend, where they are inclined to do things a bit differently; I have heard that the same happens in the far north of Oz as well. There was a country music festival on and of course there were horses and riders everywhere, with a bit of a shortage of horse floats.

No problem to the northerners though, get the local tip truck operator to lend his truck, fix a few farm gates to the body, back up to a bit of high ground, load the horses on, shut the tail gate and away you go.

; I think the Foden is owned by the same guy who owns the Atkinson in the final photo which you will be familiar with.

I see Vic thats a neat way of getting them put the hoist up it works every time ;D and the horses are getting into the act of cornering . Dave
