R.J. (Dick) Young was the AMOCO agent in Wollongong. The R600 Maxidyne in front replaced their Flintstone at the rear. My brother Bob Dyson drove for Dick Young for about 25 years.

And another one from Israel - this is something really rare for over there. It's a very early soft front R600, ordered CKD kit and assembled in Israel by the operator (the Upper Galilee Co-Op) in order to get away from the local content rules which favoured Leyland Ashdod, which had a government-awarded monopoly on the sale of heavier trucks in the 1960s. I have it on good authority people also reconditioned older NRs which ultimately were more B61s than NRs for the same reason... When Leyland messed up, the Ashdod factory was taken over by Mack who assembled mostly Flintstones.
