Some of you may already know this but thought best it gets a mention here as we'd be a target market of sorts.

In cinemas on limited release as of November 12th, earlier if you're in Dubbo, Bathurst or therabouts..

Google the film title or the director David Ceasar and you'll find it. He also did another film a few years back called "Dirty Deeds".

Website looks good and so too the Kenworth and Mack S/liner. There's a W/star too...Familiar faces in this one are Ben Mendelsohn, Guyton Grantley (U/belly fame) to name a couple.

Cheers
:)

I know the movie very well - I live in the town where it was shot.... and even got to see a scene being filmed! And I'm sorry fellas - didn't get to mingle with the stars on set!

Swishy,

In my field of work, lack of sheep causes no kill days.... no kill days in turn cause RDO's (Rostered Days Off) and me out of work for a day or two..... hence me going to see this tomorrow!

Review - Prime Mover
Author: Joe Hupp

Prime Mover is a adrenaline-packed, diesel-charged movie starring:
Michael Dorman as Thomas
Emily Barclay as Melissa
Ben Mendelsohn as Johnnie
Gyton Grantley as Repo Man 1
William McInnes as Phil
Anthony Hayes as Salesman / Mechanic / Business Man / Foreman
Andrew S. Gilbert as Thomas' Dad
Lynette Curran as Mrs Boyd
Jeanette Cronin as Melissa's Mum
Anni Finsterer as Thomas' Mum
Scott McLean as Repo 2 'Jimmy'

All the trucks were sourced in Dubbo or surrounds, as was the service station, the pub and transport depot. How they made the scene of the service station and the transport depot into one continuous item is beyone me - but they did a bloody terrific job!

Dorman, as Thomas McCully (who is a real life pinstriper who lives out at Wongarbon), fills the main character's role easily.... that's it for now! More to come!
