Isn't that first photo rediculous. Two rear pilots with OVERSIZE AHEAD signs, an OVERSIZE sign on the back of the push truck, and not to mention the 250 ton steel behemoth in front of it, and yet some nong in an office somewhere has deemed it necessary to have a mobile roadworks sign just in case the people who are catching them from the rear haven't seen them yet.
That last photo is awesome though!

Shiney,
The logistics involved in this move were very interesting, there were more than twenty vehicles involved including a spare Western Star and two retired police officers in official Police 4wds.
All northbound traffic was stopped before a parking bay the loads were then stopped alongside the bay and southbound traffic was diverted through the bay, northbound was then allowed through and then the loads continued, this traffic hopping caused massive delays but all traffic were kept very well advised of what was going on, although the Security bloke at the northern end was required on at least one occasion (angry tradie who was not happy).
We were doing a Big Lap so were not in a hurry and got to talk to one of the Security blokes, very interesting.
Bob.

Yeah, looking at it again, I didn't realise just how wide it was. Impressive.
