It's gonna need a nifty Joey box to keep the driveshaft working.

Swishman I am kinda speechless

My experience when something busts like this is, it just doesn't let go

Cracks appear then slowly spread

How someone doesn't notice this happening is beyond me

With the amount of tri drive's around these days we are going to see a lot more of this as they get a bit of age on them, I have always been a bit careful screwing a bogie around on hard surfaces particularly so if I own it. Although by the stress  marks on the front of the tanker maybe he backed under a trailer with a block behind the pin, or a bit of both.

Yeah to snap like that that, would take a phenomenal force... you'd think the steer would just keep pushing, rather than clean snapping the chassis like that??

Hi,

I was thinking the railway crossing in the background of the third photo might have had something to do with being the final straw.

Is that a set of chains hanging on the side if it’s in country that needs them there’s a fair chance it’s had a fair amount of road salt thrown around its nether regions
Never want to see firsthand what that does to a vehicle I hate the cold

Cheers Bluey
