My Old R-Model was created by VicHung
I was ratting around amongst some old photos and found one of the R-model I drove for a few years plus a few others in the fleet. Note in the last photo - 110km/h @ 1900rpm; no speed limiters in those days!

Hey Mr hungvic,
Great pics!
Just a dumb question re Macks-
My Mack is a 237, with only one aircleaner on the right hand side- When it is on the highway, under constant load, it fully screams, basically from the air cleaner, right in your window... Sounds a bit like ripping sheets... Fine while the window is up, but gets a bit annoying after a while with the window down. Now I seem to remember my Father had a "scoop" on his Mack, as the noise used to annoy him, but I can't remember if it worked or not...
Suggestions anyone? Cheers
Richard

Drive with the driver's window closed and the passenger's window, footwell vents and roof vent open!

Not so much an old hoon, more of a middle-aged hoon then, that photo was taken about 30 years ago.

Maybe a young hoon here, about 40 years ago! ;D ;D ;D
