i would have thought that was too later model for a batmobile?

Good history Adam, but I recall REX and some similar named mob sharing a depot in Brunswick around 79/80 and there were black overnighters with circle and a flying Bat on the door loading out of there too....

when doing to odd Adelaid run would find these clowns driving all over the back of us poor plodders, had one slip up my inside as I was overtaking some dill in a sedan doing about half a mile an hour less than me... had a very hairy moment when the batmobile nearly took my left mirror off....

we discussed the merits of holding a drivers licence when I found him sipping a latte at the Bordertown Roadhouse... First & last time I got that angry when not working. ;) :o

He couldn't have been a real truckdriver, then .. real truckdrivers don't sip lattes .... ;D ;D

i am backing it in as a E CAB,, later verison of the wrap around dash , this one is also a twin steer

Ok, let's get specific.

Did the Batmobiles ever run 6 x 4 rigid KW's or did they start up with 8 x 4's?

Did their rigid's run 8V71T's or was that only when they went to semis?

(Certain people may have a bet riding on the answers to these questions!) 8-)
