This old girl landed in my lap for nothing. Delivered on Friday and I must say it is great to finally get something that isnt missing anything.
Even the keys for ignition, door and glove box are there.

Bit of rust in the bottom back corners of the cab and a bit near one back window and thats it.
Bonnet, front guards and doors have no dents or rust what so ever. Just need a media blast and paint.
Front bumper is the bit that got me. Not a ding, scratch or anything. Could put it straight in for chrome.
The dash is also unusual..no extra holes have been drilled in it.
Id say it was really well looked after in its day.
You have to be lucky sometimes !

Im lucky or unlucky which ever way you would like to look at it. Im the Pres of the HCVC WA and I seem to get alot of calls from people looking for homes for trucks from farm cleanups etc. 98% are beyond saving but this one for some reason sounded okay so I went bush and had a look. The guy said If I didnt take it it was getting the chop.
Glad I did make the effort to go look now !
Unfortunatly there is some good gear getting scrapped over here at the moment but I cant save it all.
I heard of two Scammell contractors being lined up for the chop as no one wants them.
