It happened in Melbourne, but is normally known as a 'Darwin' award.

It matches the woman who stood up in front of a duck shooter, and then complained that she was shot. She blamed the duckshooter.

Even the deceased's friends haven't blamed the truck: it was down to 5 km/h approaching a red light.

I suppose one way of looking at it is that we have one less f....g idiot jerk in the world, it's the ones left behind who suffer though.
Another example is the "bullet proof" young car owners and drivers who won't be told that they may be next to bite the dust, (nah it won't happen to me, I can drive real good)! :D ...... Yeah, right.

But was it really a stunt gone wrong? I heard a lecture by a well known former Victorian Premier once and he said that so many road accidents are not accidents. After further investigation it is found that these things are actually suicide, just look like accidents on face value. Either way, it is the driver and the friend who witnessed it that will have to live with it. I have had 2 people I have worked with have someone 'suicide by truck'. Makes you wonder what they were thinking, stunt or suicide?

Jumbo, I agree wholeheartedly. How would you feel if some fool did that? Imagine the train drivers with the same deal. That will stay with him for the rest of his days.

The breed is international (yes, it's in Hebrew but it's self explanatory):

Lunatic woman. Apparently after this happened she went into her car and drove off.

Cheers,
