Dad started with REX in 1961. I'm guessing these were taken around 62/63 on his first trip around the circuit.

The best Commer Dad drove, also the only tray IPEC never owned. Jim and Dennis Whittington made the tray around about where the Star Track depot in Melbourne is. All the mod cons, radio, heater and one of those hand arm signals.

Around this christmas just gone someone on the forum said this will be their last fruit season, going to retire. They might remember this Commer running out of Invergordon. 67/68 the commer carted fruit around Shep, Kyabram and Ardmona. Was doing two trips to most other trucks one. Then went to work out of Western Transport in Port Melbourne.
