Hi all, just wondering if you could all give me some names of jobs that involve trucks, that is for someone that has just completed Year 12?

Anything really, as long as trucks are involved.

Thankyou ;D

well if you just want to wear your underpants ...go for the mardi gras float work (it would still be hot and heavy work) provided you could fend off all the SHE MALES! but otherwise a proper start at your age is to literally work your way up through the ranks and always state your claim to aspire to driving trucks for a living and a profession...you will have plenty of energy at your age to roll with some punches so do your "apprenticeship" and don't lose faith.

G'day BDB

Advice from an old fart in the UK.

Get yourself working at a truck dealer or a haulage operator, as a diesel fitter or on sales.

This way you can get to drive a lot of different trucks around yards, and also you can usually get the employer the pay for your Truck licence training, if you behave yourself.
Then with a licence and a bit of experience, you're off !!

Good Luck
Cheers
RS :)
