I don't think Beamish goes too far out of Melbourne ... his trucks keep getting lost just past the 100kmh signs! A gopher? Most companies have them, and a great way to start learning. It means the guy that is sent to "go fer" this, or "go fer" that. Could even be the apprentice! Good luck in your search, and expect a few knock-backs. The good thing with knock-backs is that if you hang in there long enough to get them out of the road, the opportunities follow. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Mate if you're still after work, go get yourself a fork licence (if you don't already have one) and just call in on any company you can think of looking for yard work, and be willing to do anything and let them know that, be it sweeping the shed, helping the workshop guys, loading and unloading, washing trucks.
