I think this thread is a small part of what its all about..
I guess it goes to show, its not all shiny wheels and truck shows.
Even some of the best laid plans go west sometimes..

Often without warning, in an instant, shes all over...
Like they say, you have to take the bad with the worse..

Fortunately in these instances there wasn't much a few hours and a pocket full of loot couldn't fix..
All part of a character building exercise perhaps..

...spent what i reckon was an un-necessary $10,000 on the rebuild of the 335 in the cabover pete in 1994 ....still say that the ether start cable was a little siezed or taut, and with the torquey take offs and cab wind up.....
..
anyway as worn and old as she was, and always up on the full 42.5, .. made a not-so-nice rattle in the engine and those dollars spent....
