gday all,have a chassis number for an SAR 401747,can anyone help with the original owner? cheers 78.

Engine Detroit 8V71
Front axle Rockwell FF921RSA
Diffs Rockwell SQHD @ 4.63 ratio

Paint ESSO grey 393-00871 / ESSO white 393-07747

Says 401747 bet the first 7 is hard to see.
You can tell by the way it is laying over compared to the 1 next to it.
This info has to come from old microfiche at KW.
Im just glad i get on well with the local branch and the guys will chase it up for our information.

...interesting to see they still were using the old 393 spraying enamel on their brand new trucks....you'd never get away with it now.....cheers

Thanks heaps clarkie!!got the email, shes changed a fair bit,now has a 8v92ta,18 speed,reyco rear end and all s-cam brakes been extended with a sleeper as well!
