I recon the rig in the top photo is on rails like a train. I have heard of timber cutters building roads (or lines ) like this over soft ground just cut the materials out as you go. Use the stumps as supports or sleepers and the right sized trunk of the tree as the rails. BIDSTBC

used to get bogged the moment it got overcast or you drove over the same bit more than twice (such as a gate) - even on a stone road , I sold it on so someone else can have fun digging it out now!

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!
