Hi Swishy, I had a look today and some of the slider holes have a bit of wear indicating that they have been used.I am starting to wonder why I thought this was a Fruehauf trailer as the combing rail is different, the axels are different and comparing with Debos photos the suspension set up is different. The wear in the slider holes indicate to me that it has been shortened and I think when we bought it, she had container pins maybe for a 20 footer.
I will have another look tomorrow .Ron

I had another look at our trailer today and is definitely a Fruehauf as has a plate on the front axle and Fruehauf is cast into the slider pin castings and that pan rod that you mentioned Debo, also we have a 34 footer with serial no 24123 and that has 6-73 stamped on plate so yours would probably be 1973 as well. This one was Ex Army and I was told they were built a bit heavier. This trailer is normal Fruehauf with sliding boggy pro pa square axels etc.
Cheers Ron

Anyone care to guess how Old It Is..as I've never seen a Fruehauf with cast hangers like this trailer..

More great info on these trailers.
Ronny the I.D. plate on my trailer has the following
Model PH36L2AW
Serial No.25488
From what I can find out PH is where it was built but I'm not sure where PH is.
36L is how long it is, not sure if the L is part of that or not (L for long?).
And just guessing 2AW is 2 Axle or Adjustable Widener?
Be interested if anyone knows if this is correct and where PH is?
