Lang (as usual) is right, Idriess books are very authentic. He is a highly sought after Australian author and his very many books usually fetch a good price. There seems to be a bit of a plague of noted authors re-writing historical stories now the original authors are dead and so are the many people those first authors got the authentic stories from.

And to keep the topic relevant, I suppose they drove bedfords and blitz's ...... Idriess rode a horse.

Ok you all, have finally worked out a plan to maybe even baffle the likes of the Swish man and all his computer smarts

I always liked this place as kid growing up but havent been since I was courting the Princess

Aahh Swishy if that is correct it is where I discovered the benefits of full layback seats in my lady-friend's Simca Aronde about half a century ago. I saw one for sale recently but she could not understand the sentimental value of buying it. Women have no sense of history.
