Correct Southbound,,

Legend has it that the cave entrance is actually the end of a Shaft Dug by the Military & filled with explosives during WW2 so in the event of an Japanese Invasion they could block one of the few Roads up the Great Dividing Range.
There's a couple of Stories on How It became to be Known as "Pooh's Bears Corner"

A lot look like that (standard harbours and marine design). I suppose it was during a cyclone. Still NFI but I will try to narrow it down.

North or South of the Tropic of Capricorn?

Go North Lang, as a hint the photo was taken in a storm surge during cyclonic activity, I had never seen waves breaking over it, it is usually 3 metres above the water.
