180wannabe either doesn't know he won a free beer or he had a few and doesn't remember he won so I will try this one. Taken early one Sunday morning,

I'm not doing well. I couldn't get it on instant recognition. On the colour the bricks, the terrain and the architecture, I went for north or north-west Victoria, possibly lower Riverina. I have had a drink or a meal in nearly all of them. I have a good set of photos, and this one doesn't match any in my collection.
I am guessing that the hotel is built on an angled corner: that shape isn't lens distortion.

Clue is it is a Highway that turns to your left, 2 day before they closed the Victoria border it was a nearly continuous line of caravan going past heading north... view is looking west

I had gone to almost every town south & west of Junee, but missed Berrigan.
I knew that it wasn't Tocumwal, and did check (and reject) Jerilderie and Narrandera and Darlington Point.

In checking a map tonight, I noticed a town Mairjimmy, south of Jerilderie.
