Peerless
Established in Cleveland in 1900, Peerless Motors began producing De Dion-Bouton "machines" under license from the French Company. Engineer Louis P. Mooers designed the first Peerless models, as well as several proprietary engines.[2] The first Peerless-branded vehicles appeared in 1902, with a front-mounted engine driving the rear wheels through a shaft. This later became the standard vehicle propulsion layout for automobiles.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
I do not know what make it is but I would hate to have to punt it up and down the Newel for a living. :woohoo:
(Once in a lifetime might be fun)

Making a small effort to save the history of road transport in Australia by being in front of Simms
Hello Morris
We can only wonder if this latest jigger Swishy has found would have been better or worse than what was available at the time.
Swishy we need to know did we have better jiggers in Australia back when this Truck came on the market ?
