How many people get this message I seam to be getting it a lot lately

The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later.

I get it now and again as well, no idea why or what it means.

Ok, I think I can answer this.

It is caused by the hosting server having maxed services.
It can happen any time and is not a direct problem of the forum or hcvc site.

I know it can be a pain, but it happens, there is ways to fix it, but that can cost a lot of money.

I pay a lot of money on equipment so it does not happen on my servers, but happens on other peoples servers.

It happens to me rarely but log out and log in again

Happens to me on my phone but I just refresh the page and it's all good

This how many other websites are on the same computer/server...........

The solution to this is for the forum (and website) to move servers.

This is being organised to be done during business hours on a Tuesday or Wednesday as that is when the forum is at its quietest.

We will let you know dates when we know them with some advance notice.

Note the actual move will take about a business day but it may take 48 hours from the new server coming up for the new address to spread around the internet so some people may see a 2 day outage. That bit of the exercise is outside our control.

the date for the move has been set as 4th Feb 2014 during Melbourne Business hours.

The old server is effectively being shut down and everything copied so if something goes astray it should just be a case of starting the old server up and away it goes.
