It must be more than 11 amps, also you would need the right regulator.

Dave, If you really want high electrical output there are dynalite replacements for the Lucas C40 and C45 rated at 40A! They look the same as the original dynamo but are expensive. If you are still stuck for a C40 or C45 and need one sending from this side of the planet let me know and I will have a look at what I can find.

What about the generator and regulator used in the early 60s Holden or Falcon cars. That is what i am planning to use on my Dodge.
