I know the Mayne Nickless machine you mean, but itI'm pretty sure this is an Autolifts cab, 240 Gardner, Peter Davies used a picture of a Mayne Nickless Atkinson with a cab, which I thought was the same as this, which he described as an Autolifts cab.BP Oil Company Atkinson-possibly a T746 model with 112 h.p. Gardner 6LW engine. The cab was built by Autolifts and Engineering Company of Blackburn, England. This firm's cabs were also fitted to some 1950s Albions.
Autoloifts did build some steel cabs for Atkinson (Blackburn is only 10 miles from Preston), but I thought this was a Motor Panels cab?

In this months Just Trucks is advertised an Atki with a Willenhall cab. unfortunately without the Gardner. Willenhall cabs were all steel and usually seen on 7 ton BMCs of the late 50's but were an option for the Atki.
I have never seen any pictures of Atkinsons with Willenhall cabs-anybody got any photos?

This is a BMC with the Willenhall cab - different wings and front infill panel.
This is the same cab as fitted to export Albions.
Two Albions - the nearest has the pressed steel Autolifts cab and the far one has the earlier pre 1950 cab
